How AI Affects 2025
If 2024 was the year that AI became modernized, 2025 will be the year that AI is put to the test. Last year, we saw incredible innovation in AI video, pictures, and music. The best tools for AI writing and code generation went toe to toe and produced stunning new language models that will stand the test of time, even into the New Year. I want to talk about all the innovations we can expect this year in AI and how a more refined AI industry will use its new technology to optimize what we already have. Let's compare AI innovation to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I'd say 2025 is the start of phase two, where all the original introductions to the big players have already been made. Now, we are continuing to refine the stories that AI will tell this generation and working on upcoming sequels to AI tools.
We expect much of the media we consume this year to be filled with AI or at least have AI elements. If not, we can assume that executives worldwide are trying to implement AI into the media and products we consume. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but that depends on the product and the SCOPE of the AI being used. We already see accusations of media-related content being AI, whether it be images and promotional material or specific shots of movies and TV. Just this past month we saw the controversial Coca-Cola Christmas ad controversy over the commercial being made with AI video almost entirely from start to finish. The ad was created by three AI studios — Secret Level, Silverside AI and Wild Card — using four different generative AI models. The silver lining is that we are seeing the implementation of protection for artists and their creations. 2025 will be the battleground year for creators and differentiating what is AI content and what isn't.
2024 also saw the start of the AI influencers boom. Virtual influencers designed by AI are becoming more prominent on social media, blurring the line between humans and technology. These cost-effective and customizable digital personas offer brands new marketing opportunities but also raise questions about transparency and the risk of spreading misinformation. Platforms like Runway or Pictory allow users to produce professional-quality videos in minutes with features like automated editing and text-to-video tools. This democratization of creativity is especially beneficial for small businesses, though it underscores the need to address ethical challenges posed by these technologies. Data privacy, algorithmic bias, and potential job displacement demand thoughtful solutions. How exactly can we enforce these ethical dilemmas in AI? Throughout this year, we will see experts in all fields discover the best ways to embed AI into their respective professions. As we continue forward into 2025, seeing how this landscape evolves will be incredibly important for businesses worldwide.
AI's impact extends far beyond businesses and social media. We increasingly depend on AI-driven information and calculations across many vital sectors. Healthcare is a prime example, where AI is both expanding access to care and revolutionizing early disease detection. AI-assisted image analysis enhances screening accuracy, while health concierges powered by AI will provide personalized advice, multilingual support, medication reminders, and navigation through complex care systems. Multimodal AI models will integrate diverse data sources to deliver actionable insights, giving medical professionals a more detailed outlook of a patient's record. This tech is paving the way for more personalized and effective medicine.
As AI becomes more ingrained in our lives, addressing its ethical implications is critical. Data privacy, algorithmic bias, and potential job displacement demand thoughtful solutions. How exactly can we enforce these ethical dilemmas in AI? Throughout this year, we will see experts in all fields discover the best ways to embed AI into their respective professions. As with any product, the more and more people use it, the more refined the product becomes.
Xennial Innovations has always been an AI-first organization, and we strongly believe in the technology. We work hand in hand with AI and always push for transparency, protecting our employees' and partners' data above all else. As this year continues to unfold, AI will unfold with it, unraveling new dilemmas but, at the same time, new innovations. Xennial will also be part of the 2nd phase of AI with our first AI platform, the Miles Ecosystem.
